The Austin Doggery is a home-grown, female owned company here in Austin, Texas. The founder and all-around-animal-lover, Jenna Manders, began her first dog training business in Quito, Ecuador. Five years later she felt the pull to return back to the states and began working in a dog rescue for 3 years before moving to Austin Texas in 2017.

The name “doggery” can mean dog behavior, but it is also an old Southern slang for saloon and pays homage to the company’s Texas roots. We love what we do and it shows!

OUR SERVICES

One-on-One Training

All of our training sessions are door-to-door and personalized to meet your pup’s long term goals. We use different methodologies that are primarily reward-based to create a fun and dynamic learning experience. We want your dog’s tail to be wagging every time they see us!

Expect your dog to learn everything from the basics of: sit, down, stay, place, and heel. If your pup loves to use their brain and problem solving, we also may incorporate some agility and scent work! Each training session is tailored to the dog’s individual needs.

$80/session

Board and Train

This is an intensive program to address your pup’s goals and behavior where they will stay with one of our trainers. Everyday they will receive a training session one-on-one, as well as incorporating the obedience skills into their routine throughout the day. Expect your dog to learn all of the basic obedience commands of: sit, down, stay, place, and heel.

They will be socialized with other dogs (if safe to do so) and taken on nature hikes during their stay with us. This is a great program to create a solid foundation of training to build off of! Owners will be given frequent updates on how their puppy is doing with each element and how to reinforce those skills at home.

$100/per night

Group Hike

We understand that exercise and socializing our pups are key to their growth and happiness! Our group hike is a door-to-door easy service that allows you to come home to a peaceful and tired canine friend.

Each hike is led by an experienced trainer and limited to a max of 4 dogs. We require that each dog goes through a minimum of three one-on-one training sessions to qualify for the group hike.
